Spider-Man: No Way Home - Both Post-Credits Scenes Explained

7. Eddie Brock Has Left The Building

As it stands, Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock merely had a cup of coffee in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Well, maybe more cocktails and beers than coffee, but the larger point still stands.

While Venom: Let There Be Carnage was a massively mixed bag of a movie, one element of that picture which received universal praise was its post-credits sequence. There, Eddie and Venom are taking a well-earned vacation when they are suddenly magically transported to the MCU just as J. Jonah Jameson reveals to the world that Peter Parker and Spider-Man are one and the same.

It would turn out that Brock was transported to the MCU in the same way as Norman Osborn, Otto Octavius et al were, and the first No Way Home post-credits sequence reintroduced us to a slightly sozzled Eddie who was getting up to speed on the concept of a world full of superheroes.

For those hoping that Tom Hardy's Venom would be sticking around to butt heads with Tom Holland's Web-head, those hopes were seemingly dashed as Eddie was sent back to his own universe at the same time as the rest of the alt-world characters.

Moving forward, it looks as if the Eddie Brock we know and love will be cracking skulls and chomping heads in his own world, away from the action of the MCU.
