13. Lizard - Spider-Man 2

Before Doc Ock became the villain for Spider-Man 2 (which was absolutely the right idea, considering how well it turned out), Sam Raimi had actually intended to use him alongside two other villains. There was initially a script by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar that had Ock appearing with both Lizard and Black Cat.

And people say Raimi was forced to use too many villains in Spider-Man 3...

Anyway, Raimi's Lizard would have been a pretty terrifying creature if the concept art by Constantine Sekeris was anything to go by.
