In another beautiful example of not being able to see the forest for the trees, Lucas has apparently decided that the problem with the Ewoks in Return of the Jedi was not that they were awfully cutesy opponents to defeat the galactic empire (sticks and stones can break Stormtroopers bones, apparently), but that they didnt have working eyelids. So we arrive at the Blu-ray edition where viola! Digital eyelids have been inserted on the Ewoks! You know deep in your heart that millions of dollars that couldve been invested in the interesting, personal projects Lucas keeps claiming he wants to direct were instead wasted on allowing Wicket to blink.
