This movie is simply meant to be for Joe Johnston. Hes worked with George Lucas and Kathleen Kennedy, the new LucasFilm head, before. Johnston has the Star Wars and Boba Fett pedigree attached to his name. Hes taken over a franchise film before with Jurassic Park III. Additionally, the tech-savvy director has juggled with CGI and 3-D in his previous works. Simply put, Johnstons got the right stuff. However, its yet to be seen whether or not the Boba Fett movie will become a reality or not. Moreover another one of Johnstons former colleagues/mentors, Steven Spielberg, may be calling Johnston any day now to ask him to direct the next installment of the Jurassic Park series, with a fourth film being fast-tracked for a Summer 2014 release.
