Chewbacca the wookie is said to be at Han's side during at least one action sequence in the forest setting (Yavin IV?), as Harrison Ford was heard to cry his first mate's name on set. Interestingly, in leaked concept art, Chewie has a cyborg hand. If this idea is used, Chewie must have seen some heavy fighting in the years since Return of the Jedi. A leaked photo of new action figure toys from a Chinese web site, however, shows Chewie with a normal hand, so the cyborg hand may be an idea dropped before filming. If this artificial appendage is featured in the film, it will keep up the sometimes-used motif of main characters having bionic hands (a la Luke and Vader).
