2. Remember: Kylo Ren Is Technically A Skywalker

It's important not to forget that Kylo Ren is also technically a Skywalker, and the title could relate to him fully ditching his Ben Solo birth-name, especially if he's somehow redeemed by the end of the movie.

If Ben is indeed saved, he could perhaps take on the Skywalker moniker out of shame for killing his father in The Force Awakens, feeling unworthy of wearing the "Solo" name.

Or further still, The Rise of Skywalker could relate to Kylo Ren rising up as the new Supreme Leader and sole "Skywalker" left standing, but also include those inspired by the Skywalker way on the side of the resistance. Reaching? Never say never.
