Star Wars Every Upcoming TV & Film: Everything We Know

11. Visions

Unfortunately, Disney hasn’t revealed too much about the upcoming Disney+ show Star Wars: Visions. However, we do know that the series will utilize a different animation style than Clone Wars, Rebels, and the Bad Batch, and will instead take inspiration from Japanese anime.

Given the fact that Star Wars takes inspiration from Japanese films, a Star Wars anime series seems like a match made in heaven.

The show will consist of ten short films, each celebrating a different aspect of the Star Wars galaxy, and will each be brought to life by a different creator, each of whom Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy promises will be one of the best anime creators in the world.

The series is set to release sometime in 2021.
