10. The Last Scene Is Moments Before A New Hope

It's no secret the events of Rogue One revolve around the theft of the original Death Star plans. While fans have been saturated with action sequences from a number of trailers and TV spots, many may not have asked how the film concludes.

Unquestionably, the film should be about the ride. Rogue One will be a unique experience for fans, and will most likely set a new standard moving forward in the franchise. But once the dust settles, the plans have been stolen and the battle of Scarif is over, the final transition of the film will be full of Easter eggs linking to to the original film.

Presumably, Jyn Erso and her group will succeed, sending the plans from Scarif to the Rebel Alliance. The data will eventually get into the hands of Princess Leia, where she will embark on a trip to Alderaan. During this journey, the Empire will track the transmission to her ship and the rest is history.
