35. Godzilla Cave Paintings

Director Gareth Edwards confirmed prior to the film's release that a number of Easter eggs would appear in the form of paintings on the cave wall of Saw Gerrera's hideout.

Edwards stated that his crew drew the MUTOs and the big guy himself from his 2014 hit Godzilla, as well as the alien creature from his 2010 debut film Monsters.

Edwards also added that this wasn't intentional on his part, "They did it as a joke. I came in one day and spotted it…during the middle of a take."
