7. Forest Whitaker's Character Is A Bounty Hunter (And Jyn's Mentor)

Forest Whitaker's unknown character gets to deliver some of the key dialogue that we saw in the trailer, and also wearing a pretty interesting outfit.

He's wearing some very bulky armour, and also appears to be limping, giving off the impression of a grizzed ol' war vet. The theories do follow this line of thinking, suggesting that he could actually be a bounty hunter.

There was an early rumour about the film that it would feature a team of bounty hunters, sent by Vader to reclaim the plans. This could be something leftover from that, although it does seem he'll be on the good side (or at least in the middle), giving some advice to Jyn.
