Rogue One:AStar Wars Story: The Official Visual Story Guide will be out later this year, and 10 pages of the book were uploaded to the Edelweiss website as part of the winter 2016 preview, and spotted by Jedi-Bibliothek. The content includes character names, and a few more details we previously didn't know about them (it's not particularly spoiler-y, and mostly tallies with various rumours and assumptions, but if you don't want to know their names and brief descriptions this is your warning).

Of those, obviously we already knew about Jones' character, and the biggest takeaways are Tudyk's droid, with confirmation that he was an Imperial droid, and the reveal of Mendelsohn's role within the Empire.

The book also reveals a couple of new characters on the side of the Rebels: Pao and Bistan, both described as fierce warriors and, interestingly, alien creatures who appear to be CGI. Conspicuous by his absence, meanwhile, is Forest Whitaker's character, rumoured to be a bounty hunter and/or war veteran.

The book also reveals a couple of the new ships we can expect to see in the movie:an Imperial TIEStriker, and a Rebel Starfighter, both of which take on pre-existing models to create something new that still very much fits within the universe.
