19. A Rebel Who Rebels

The fact that Jyn isn't a typical Rebel looks to be a key part of the film's set-up. Early story rumours alluded to the Rebellion hiring in a bunch of outside criminals to aid them in their plot, and this difference in opinion certainly points towards that.

However, it's not going to be as simple as hired guns, with Jyn certain on her morals, delivering the trailer's best line, "This is a Rebellion isn't it? I rebel."

Mon Mothma shows some humility and awareness in the subsequent shot, reacting to the bold statement and seemingly accepting that for the Rebellion to achieve their goal they'll need to get their hands a little dirty.
