Wait, so who's that on the poster?

Ever since Star Wars: The Force Awakens was announced in 2013, fans everywhere have been religiously following the film's every footstep in an attempt to glean any tidbit of information. But since J.J Abrams is in charge of the ship, everything that's related to Episode VII has been locked up tight and fans have been drip-fed info and details. Even now, after being wowed by trailers whilst slowly teasing out characters, story points, and random pieces of info over the course of a year, we're still no closer to figuring out what the film's story is about, what part each main character plays in events, and how everything links together. In fact, the movie is due to be released very soon and we've still yet to see any photos or details about Luke Skywalker or many of the major supporting characters. With just over a month left to go before the The Force Awakens is released, here are ten big questions that have still yet to answered about 2015's most anticipated movie.

10. What Exactly Is The First Order?

At the end of Return Of The Jedi, the second Death Star is destroyed by the Rebel Alliance with help from some cute mini-Wookies, the Galactic Empire was seemingly struck a mortal blow when Emperor Palpatine was thrown into a reactor, and the Rebels seemed primed to wipe out the remnants of a leaderless government. But after nearly three decades, the Empire has seemingly been replaced by something called the First Order, Stormtroopers with updated armour are parading around, and aerial dogfights between TIE Fighters and X-Wings are still going on. So what exactly is First Order and what has been going on? Did the Empire survive and continue on without Palpatine or did someone revive the Galactic Empire from the grave and this is Rebels vs. Empire 2.0? Based on what we do know, the answer seems to be a bit of both and a lot of unknowns. The Galactic Empire was a massive beast that was spread throughout the galaxy like a parasite, so removing it will take considerable effort and time. Apparently, the First Order rose out of the ashes of the old Galactic Empire due to some powerful figure who honestly thought that what Palpatine was doing wasn't actually a bad idea and it deserves a second shot. Regardless of who or what First Order is, their conflict with the Rebels will only mean one thing: more aerial dogfights!
