8. Kylo Ren Is A Double Agent
The Rumour: With Kylo Ren shown to be a wildly conflicted villain in The Force Awakens, what if him being evil is all just a ruse, and he's in fact a Resistance double agent, whose end game is to kill Snoke and liberate the galaxy of the First Order?
It would certainly add a ton of emotional weight to him killing his father Han, and enhance the meaning of him asking Han for help and thanking him as he killed him.
The Truth: While Kylo does in fact kill Snoke, he doesn't have the interest of the Resistance at heart when he does it, and he absolutely hasn't been a hero all along.
Kylo's ultimate motivation is to destroy all the past lineage of the Force and start anew, which brings him back into conflict with the last Jedi herself, Rey, after they briefly team up to annihilate Snoke and his Praetorian guards.
