13. Batman Has A Large Supporting Role

The Rumour: In the months before release, word spread from test screenings that Ben Affleck's Caped Crusader actually had a far larger part in the movie than anyone expected. More than a cameo, it was a straight-up supporting role.

How Much We Believed It: It seemed plausible enough given how his presence was increasingly played-up in subsequent trailers, and if the footage had been shown off in test screenings, then it made sense. 7/10

The Truth: Batman appears for perhaps two minutes in the final movie in two short scenes, while Bruce Wayne shows up in the mid-credits scene for an additional minute-or-so. No word yet on whether there's more Batman material ready for the Blu-ray or these "screening reports" were just total bulls***.
