The Rumour: The Suicide Squad's leader Rick Flag dies deep in the movie's third act, a theory revolving largely around the fact that the trailer shows his bodyguard Katana appearing to be deeply distressed at something. What better than Flag's demise?

How Much We Believed It: Though Joel Kinnaman isn't a star on the level of Smith or Robbie, it's still tough to buy that such a bada** character would get killed off so soon, and there are a number of other plausible explanations for Katana's breakdown (namely that the soul of her husband resides in the freaking sword she's holding). Nope. 3/10

The Truth: Flag thankfully survives, and Katana's little moment is ultimately utterly inconsequential.
