Although there were various reports about Cloverfield 3 going to Netflix and a teaser announcing as such during the game, this was still a hugely bold move. The movie not only got a title - Cloverfield Paradox - and an announcement that it was coming to Netflix, but the streaming service also revealed they were dropping the movie that very night.
It's an unprecedented move, and while the earliest reviews of the movie have been mixed, it's a massive way of garnering hype for Julius Onah's sci-fi movie.
