Despite still being relatively early in the pre-production stages, director Zack Snyder actually begins filming the Superman vs. Batman movie this weekend. On Saturday, the East Los Angeles College stadium will temporally become Gotham City University's home stadium for 15 minutes or so when they take on big rivals Metropolis State University. It's being reported that at half-time of ELAC's actual game as the real teams go into the locker room, Snyder will use the opportunity of filming at a real jam-packed stadium for a scene that will appear in his finished film, which remember is still just under two years away from being released! Batman-News.com actually carry the images of each fictional teams' jerseys for the weekend filming. You can check out Gotham City University (black) and Metropolis State University (red) in their respective colours below; Starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill (who we imagine won't be there for what very much sounds like second unit style filming as the actors are away for David Fincher's Gone Girl and Guy Ritchie's The Man From U.N.C.L.E. respectively, the latter being shot in London right now), the movie is still clouded in much mystery as to the actual plot. Superman vs Batman is due to hit theatres on July 17th, 2015.
