Officially my new favourite bookmark (if your interested it comes after Bloody Disgusting and Script Shadow in my daily OCD-like routine of website visiting) is Bleeding Cool, now only a week old comics and movies discussion blog which has already generated about as many genuine news exclusives as we have all year. It's run my Rich Johnstone, a man with many, many contacts and they are feeding him good stuff right now. He's heard from industry sources that one of the ideas floating around Warner Bros. is to set the currently untitled Terminator 5 in London. I would suggest at this point it's nothing more than brainstorming and all WB eyes are on the $122 million worldwide box office gross of the $200 million budgeted picture currently in theatres. After setting Terminator Salvation so far in the future and having dealt with Los Angeles in the previous films and with many movies already dealing with the destruction of New York (I Am Legend, Cloverfield) it does seem to be a smart move to set one of these movies somewhere else, and somewhere relatable. Though will Americans care about our iconography to pay their money to see it? Didn't Reign of Fire and 28 Weeks Later undeperform over there?
