23. The Future War
It wouldn't be a Terminator movie without some glimpse at the future war between the human resistance and Skynet, of course, and the film opens with a chilling homage to the iconic skull-crushing endoskeleton assaults from the first two Terminator movies, as the machines start rising up out of the ocean to fight the humans.

We also get a more intimate glimpse at the future war later on when Grace is critically wounded in combat and volunteers to become a human-cyborg hybrid in order to extend her life.
