We reported just over a month ago that McG was the guy who the Halycon Co. were eyeing to resurrect the franchise and Moviehole have heard from a 'top source' that it's a done deal. You know there was a real chance to do something different with this franchise. Start all over and try and move as far away from Jonathan Mostow's movie as possible. Bring in a new Terminator. Set the movie far away from the last three... take it in a new direction. Instead they have the same writers from the last movie and the same old crap studio decisions over who should be in charge of it, in what really looks like a big rush-job of a film. How can we trust this director with the TERMINATOR franchise when he can't even trust his real frikkin' name?
