J.J Abrams finally followed up to his smash hit resurrection of the groundbreaking science fiction franchise with Into Darkness which did not disappoint. If you dont know who Benedict Cumberbatch played 1) go see the damn movie already and 2) click Next. Benedict Cumberbatch took the iconic character of Kahn and nailed it, giving a very brooding and sinister performance. Hes not the only reason this film is fantastic though as J.J Abrams takes cues from the franchises esteemed legacy and carefully yet brilliantly implements them into the grand finale of Into Darkness. You know Zachary Quinto screaming out KHAAAAAAAN and then pummeling the holy hell out of him got your blood pumping, and lens flare be damned, it's another fantastic outing for J.J Abrams.
