Ol Bruce can still kick ass with the best of them, and though his film choices are always a little hit and miss (Surrogates, Cop Out, Red, The Cold Light of Day), with the exception of one stinker that nobody saw, he brought gravitas to two of the years best films...and The Expendables 2. Once again showing that Bruce Willis and time travel can only be a good thing, Willis gave one of his best performances since Unbreakable in Looper, showing why he was, and I guess still kind of is, one of the biggest stars on the planet. And along with Ed Norton he joined the Wes Anderson troupe in a light-hearted and very touching role as a bumbling, philandering Sheriff. Next year sees him back to his old tricks as John I truly am getting top old for this s**t McClane in Live Young, Die Hard or whatever-the-Hell lazy title they come up with (I know its A Good Day to Die Hard, Im just trying - unsuccessfully - to make a point).
