It seems to have been the month of leaked superheroes with the bootlegged trailers for The Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing Spider-Man and The Avengers all appearing online some days before their official release and causing Warner Bros, Sony and Disney/Marvel respectively a massive headache in trying to put the paste back into the tube. Now I would have thought and this is something we routinely say when it comes to such matters that these companies would in response to the leaks (and those of years previous), actually release the official trailers early to avoid this situation but they never do seem to learn. Warner Bros were forced to release their high quality Batman trailer online early and rather sheepishly, Sony seemed to have quietly released a high quality version of The Amazing Spider-Man trailer yet there is still no proof that even that is 100% official and perhaps it's yet another leak, but we think it's a quiet official one. However Marvel/Disney have decided to keep cool and not release The Avengers trailer yet, instead keeping the mystique that they created all the way back in the after credits sequence of Iron Man in 2008. Even the newly released teaser poster and launch of the official 'Avengers' site for the film doesn't give anything away. Now apart from the poster, which does look pretty cool, there is not much else on the new website just yet. Now whether this can be because, like i said earlier, they want to keep their mystique or they have started this site in preparation for a Comic-Con trailer release. We all remember the first time the Avengers assembled at last years Con. Lets just hope that this year what they have planned is even better.
