Matt Reeves' The Batman is no different, and believe it or not, one can argue it has the best collection of action scenes from all of them.

The biggest tragedy in all of this is that when ranking from worst to best, we have to pick the worst. Let the records show that the worst is by default. One of them has to be at last place, but that doesn't mean they're anything less than stellar.

SPOILERS AHEAD.

8. Selina Kyle Versus Carmine Falcone And His Goons

Falcone doesn't know that Selina is his daughter, so she ambushes him in his office with a gun when his men are downstairs. Her plan is derailed when one of Falcone's men returns to the office to report some news to him.

Yet Selina goes through with the plan anyway. She points her gun at Falcone and at the same time reveals that she is her daughter. Just as Selina aims to shoot Falcone, the lights go out, giving Falcone a chance to dodge.

It’s is a well-choreographed scene, but the reason it is in last place is because it is just obligatory until Batman comes crushing in to stop whatever is going on. We already know Selina will not be successful at killing Falcone because we need the scene of Batman stopping her.

It is also very obvious that Falcone will not kill Selina. We’ve been through this before with countless adaptations. Batman will stop Selina from killing Falcone, there will be a verbal fight about the morals of killings, but eventually, Batman will put Falcone in handcuffs.
