4. Kiel Sacrifices Himself

The carnage continues, as Hamilton and Captain Kiel (David Oyelowo) attempt to decouple the maintenance ring which threatens to rip the entire station apart as it spins off-axis.

Eventually, though, Kiel decides to shut Hamilton out of the process, sacrificing himself to disconnect the maintenance ring, while allowing Hamilton to live.

Sadly what could've been an affecting sacrifice falls a little flat because there's virtually zero emotional connection to Kiel as a person. He barely exists as a character, which is all the more disappointing when you've got an actor of David Oyelowo's caliber in the role.
