2. Paintball (If Only A Little)

A Community movie without a taste of paintball would feel wrong; just plain wrong!

This comedy series was lauded for its ability to jump into different genres and gimmicks whilst still feeling genuine, and the action-heavy paintball episodes were the height of that. It's true that the more they came, the more forced they felt, but regardless it was still a huge part of the show's identity.

When it comes to the movie, plenty of people are hoping that the whole thing will be a bombastic paintball tournament. While that would be somewhat cool, it would also limit the flick, as it would feel reductive to step back into old habits. However, that doesn't mean the movie should shy away from dipping its does into buckets of paint entirely.

There should be at least one sequence involving paintball so as to pay off the consistent theme, add some action into the runtime and include some hilarious meta gags about how paintball had to make it to the movie.

Not including it would be wrong, but focussing on it too much would feel tired. It'll be a tough nut to crack, but Harmon and Guest should be able to pull it off.
