4. Jaume Collet-Serra's Stylish Direction

This is the fourth collaboration between Liam Neeson and Jaume Collet-Serra, and once again, the director proves himself an extremely efficient, competent genre filmmaker, employing dynamic camerawork and long takes for fight scenes - albeit digitally stitched together - to elevate the film's more generic elements.

It's just a matter of time before he lands his own superhero movie, having been originally considered to helm Suicide Squad 2, but in the mean-time, if he can maintain the quality of his team-ups with Neeson, there's no reason to stop cranking them out anytime soon.

As far as mid-budget genre film directors go, there aren't many consistently working right now who can do B-movie thrills much better.
