THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Prologue Synopis & Press Screening Dec 8th

Chris Nolan will reveal The Dark Knight Rises prologue at a press screening on Thursday evening.

This isn't something WhatCulture! have been invited to at press time so I'm not sure where this is taking place but there's an early critics screening of The Dark Knight Rises prologue going down somewhere on this planet on Thursday, December 8th. The event also includes an introduction by Christopher Nolan and a cocktail reception immediately after the 7.30pm screening. I'm trying to find out with Warner Bros whether it is a UK or US event and I will do my best to snag one of my writers an invite but I have a feeling it will be for print only. I also don't know if the journalists attending will be embargoed on their reactions until we get a little closer to Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol's release. Even if there is an embargo on these screenings, some anxious journalist is bound to get trigger happy with his/her response under an alias or otherwise anyway and a full description of the prologue is bound to hit the web before midnight on Thursday. Of course we already know thanks to director Chris Nolan that the prologue contains the first six minutes of the film and is an introduction to Bane. Many believe that to be the showdown between Batman and Bane, where Batman comes off more than a little worse for wear but we shall certainly find out soon. For those not attending Thursday's screening, The Dark Knight Rises prologue can be seen from Dec 16th (or Dec 21st in the UK) at these venues.
