With the summer film season now winding down you mightve thought that the relative bombast of the blockbuster, with all their explosions, superheroes and Johnny Depp in magnificent-yet-strangely-racist hats will be banished from out screens for the foreseeable future. If so, you didnt count on The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, which looks set to take your money come the autumn season and supply methadone for those still chasing Twilight-esque heroin. Yes, its back to Suzanne Collins' big, swooning dramas in Panem as the newly Oscar-minted Jennifer Lawrence fights once more in a once-in-25-years variation of the original Hunger Games named the Quarter Quell. Yet before then Lawrences Katniss Everdeen is undergoing a tour of the countrys Districts with her survivor boyfriend Peeta, and according to Lawrence herself, they will be kissing a lot. In possibly the strangest promotional pitch ever, the 24-year-old commented at Comic-Con that there will be a huge amount of slobber involved, with her co-star Josh Hutcherson saying it will be hot, if youre into snot. Strange kissing aside, heres the trailer for Catching Fire, which will be out on November 22nd if youre a fan, youll no doubt be impressed, and others might board the Panem train as well.
