The Mighty Ducks Cast - Where Are They Now?

It was a movie that spawned a generation of child actors, but where are they now?

The success of The Mighty Ducks movie can draw parallels to the story of the pee-wee team it portrays. Here was a movie about a small-time hockey team who defied the odds and beat their superior rivals, whilst teaching us about the spirit of teamwork along the way. Everybody counted them out, but themselves.

When the movie was released, it was met with mediocre to poor reviews, and somehow has managed a 23% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. However, it was a box office smash and became a favourite of 1990s kids.

It then spawned two sequels, which may not have been as good, but they were still enjoyable.

One of the many reasons for its success across those movies was the young cast. Each time we got a ragtag group of children who could easily have been our own group of friends, bickering and bonding their way to a victory. They were the heart and soul of the movies, and without them, they would never have been as good.

Now, with a new TV show on the horizon on Disney+ that will be taking us back to the world of the Mighty Ducks, it's high time to see where some of the cast of this much-loved movie franchise is now, and the journey they had along the way.

10. Marguerite Moreau - Connie Moreau

Connie Moreau, played by Marguerite Moreau, has the distinction of being the first female player on the Mighty Ducks team, only later being joined by figure skater Tammy Duncan. She's consistently appeared across all three movies in the Ducks trilogy, and we'll be rather disappointed if she doesn't return in some capacity for the new show.

Fans of the movies will remember Connie as being a loyal ducks team player, and also being no pushover either. In Mighty Ducks 2 she pushed over a rather large Icelandic player who nearly crushed her against a wall after proclaiming "I'm no lady, I'm a duck" whilst the audience fist-pumped the air. She's not called 'the velvet hammer' for nothing.

Following on from her appearances in the Ducks trilogy, Marguerite Moreau has gone on to be one of the most prolific acting careers amongst her fellow classmates, with a litany of movie and TV appearances under her belt. She's had an acting stint on Grey's Anatomy as Dr. Emma Marling, and appeared in both series of Wet Hot American Summer following her appearance in the film of the same name. It's fair to say, Marguerite Moreau has had, and continues to have, a successful career on both the big and small screen.
