1. Valkyrie Is The Heroine The Series Deserves
And finally, after previous Thor movies failed to make the most of their female characters, what with Jane Foster being a bore and Sif effectively getting sidelined, it's great to see Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie get such a fantastic treatment in Ragnarok.
Smart, funny and a total bada**, Valkyrie is a fun foil for Thor and saddled with her own intriguing troubled past. Plus, against many fans' expectations, she actually survives the movie and has been rumoured to be returning in Infinity War in some capacity after being spotted on the set.
Fingers crossed Marvel Studios makes the most of Valkyrie from this point, because the MCU could sure use more fleshed-out female heroes.
