7. The Hulk Joins The Party

Adding The Hulk to just about any Marvel movie is always going to give it a boost, and sure enough, the presence of the big green guy adds a lot to Ragnarok's already wild ride.

Though he's not in the film as much as you might've expected, his appearances and those of Bruce Banner result in some of the movie's funniest and most surprisingly poignant moments.

Waititi emphasises the buddy aspect of Thor and Hulk's relationship superbly, and while there's most certainly never going to be a fully-fledged Planet Hulk adaptation, this was a fun nod to it all the same.

And the begging for a new standalone Hulk movie begins again in 3, 2, 1...
