14. Hercules' Mace
The idea of Thor losing his weapons and having to rely on others comes from Jason Aaron's run on the Thor comics, though he doesn't use swords as he did then.

His weapon of choice in the Sakaar arena is a mace, which appears to be included as a nod to fellow Marvel hero Hercules, who traditionally wields a golden mace throughout his comics. Albeit with a new colour scheme, anyway.
