Remember when James Gunn said that the Thor: Ragnarok trailer was Marvel's best ever? The fan-base seems to agree, given how vociferously they've watched it since it debuted on Monday.

The teaser has been viewed a mighty 136 million views in its first 24 hours, making it Marvel's most-viewed of all time in the same period. The closest competitor was Captain America: Civil War - which only managed 94 million. And even more impressively, it beat Beauty & The Beast's 126.7m in a day to become Disney's most-viewed as well.

This is absolutely no mean feat for a threequel coming off the back of Thor: The Dark World.

It still holds the record for most viewed in 24 hours with 197 million, which will take some beating, but the fact that Ragnarok beat all of the MCU, every Star Wars and almost beat Fate Of The Furious (139 million) is just insane. Just goes to show you how important great trailers can be to selling your movie.

Let's hope Taika Waititi delivers on the promise of this teaser.
