4. He's A Friend From Work

And here you have the birth of a meme. Like Tony Stark's puppy-dog-eyed "So was I" at the end of the Captain America: Civil War trailer, this "I know him, he's a friend from work" will immediately be leapt upon by meme-makers the world over.

To be fair, it's an incredible line, and another indication of the kind of humour Taika Waititi is bringing. Look at the shear, misplaced joy on Thor's face.

It's great that he doesn't call Hulk a friend and that he refers to the Avengers as his "work". The two have of course had a fractious relationship in the past. So it wouldn't be correct for him to say "friend" here.
