17. Welcome To Sakaar

Presumably, this follows Thor's encounter with Hela, and also her devastation of Asgard: somehow Thor ends up being teleported through one of the wormholes that dumps out on Sakaar. It's not likely he came here on purpose.

Incidentally, he still has his hair - so its removal is nothing to do with Hela, then.

It's not a happy greeting: he's met by what appears to be a band of Harry Potter-like Snatchers, who hoover up strangers to trade. There's definitely also a Gladiator vibe here (think Russell Crowe being traded to Olly Reed...)

The characters definitely feel like they could exist in the Star Wars universe...

Clearly, this is a diverse community, with a surprisingly hostile attitude towards outsiders.
