10. A Perfect Storm

During her journey to the island her father previously visited, Lara gets caught in a violent storm, and finds herself forced to abandon ship.

Unfortunately, the moment is undercut by some hilariously blatant CGI, culminating in a ludicrous sequence where Lara jumps overboard with all her might.

Though it's half-way cool to see a moment from the 2013 game re-enacted on screen, it's a shame the visuals are so garish and over-the-top.

As for where Lu Ren goes during the storm? Once has to assume he abandoned ship or went overboard earlier and will meet back up with Lara later on in the movie.
