Told you to expect more Johnny Depp. Here, he plays detective Ichabod Crane who is sent to the autumnal town of Sleepy Hollow to investigate a series of decapitations the locals are saying is the work of the fabled Headless Horseman. Scientifically-minded yet squeamish and easily spooked, Crane is an entertaining twist on the archetypal brave and fearless leading man while also possessing Sherlock Holmes-esque forward-thinking. He€™s just not great with dead bodies.
