4. Once Upon A Time In China

Wong Fei-Hung is arguably the greatest folk hero China has ever heralded in modern times; there are countless films, where he is portrayed by various Hong Kong stars, including Sammo Hung, Jackie Chan, and in this entry; Jet Li. This series, spanning 6 entries, is among the greatest series of films on Wong Fei-Hung, which includes Once Upon A Time In China and America (even if you don't want to count that film).

It follows the exploits of Fei-Hung as he deals with various foreign groups plundering his country, affecting political change, and the ramifications of fighting injustice with both his ideals and his Kung Fu.
