TRAILER: PROM NIGHT
If your crazy enough to actually want to see the crappy looking remake of the Korean horror movie ONE MISSED CALL this weekend (shockingly, the only wide release movie in the U.S.) then you will be treated to this trailer for PROM NIGHT, which just happens to be another crappy looking horror remake. Though PROM NIGHT has something going against it that most other remakes don't. The original movie, despite the interesting to watch Jamie Lee Curtis, was absolute crap. Yes I can see the good in remaking a shitty movie and attempting to make is something worthwhile but we all know that isn't the case here. It's come out because HALLOWEEN was being remade, and Screen Gems were looking to capitlise on a genre revival. Good luck with that, I fear a flop for this one when it opens in April...
Trailer for the original movie below. Have they dropped the killer phone stalking from the original because of SCREAM perhaps?
