Here's a thought experiment for you: go to YouTube and watch the full trailers for the first three films. Say what you will about the finished products themselves, these trailers were exciting: between the perfectly cropped moments and the score matching the bombast of the imagery, you couldn't help but feel drawn into seeing each film in the theatre at least once. The trailers did their job well, in the fact that these films consistently were huge draws at the international box office. Even people that had legitimate issues with the first couldn't help but buy a ticket for the second and/or third. If the Transformers team still knows how to cut a decent trailer, then we can at the very least continue to count on them to deliver a film that's on par with the rest of them. (If not a film that surpasses them in every way.)
