Don't we all know the Michael Bay routine by now? He unleashes a loud, dazzling fury of destructive devastation trailer, a geekgasm orgy showcasing shit blowing up like never before and mass insanity on a new level - probably the greatest looking film in the history of motion pictures, only for it to eventually be a giant pile of turd upon release. Most recently, this kind of formula has spread it's wings to films not made by Bay, such as Skyline and Battle: LA. Just be warned nerds. Tread very carefully with this 9/11 influenced Transformers: The Dark of the Moon. The more impressive the CGI special effects looks, the dumber it will probably be. This is Transformers 2 all over again. More of what didn't work in the first film, just on a bigger more explosive scale.Transformers: The Dark of the Moon opens in July.
