16. Tessa Returns...In A Voice Cameo

Even though her character was basically terrible in the last film, a lot of fans were wondering what happened to Cade's daughter Tessa after her father went on the run from the authorities.

Well, Cade has a throwaway line about Tessa going off to college, and later calls her, though is unable to speak to her for fear of the call being traced.

Nicola Peltz did actually return to provide the voice cameo, though the whole college excuse just feels a little flimsy, as it's hard to imagine her partying and studying while a Transformer apocalypse is taking place and her father's on the lam.

Was Peltz unavailable to return, or was this just a continuation of the series' revolving door policy concerning most female characters?
