1. The Excellent Sound Design
And what would all that action be without some incredible sound work?
While even many very good action films rely on cringe-worthy, boring stock gunfire sounds, everything here has a crunchy, bespoke feel to it (whether that's the case or not), which instantly makes the set-pieces feel so much more engaging.
Given the covert nature of the team's operation, sound is ultra-important, and the overall soundscape brilliantly underlines the urgent suspense to get in, complete the mission and get out with as little mess as possible.
Disasterpiece's aforementioned pulsing score is also well-integrated into the mix, ratcheting up the tension where need be, but also not getting too aggressive or insistent.
If you've got a decent surround sound set-up, it'll serve you well here.
