TROPIC THUNDER scribe writing IRON MAN sequel

Iron Man. Despite his writing inexperience (the upcoming Tropic Thunder is his only script to date), Marvel believe hiring one writer to see the project to the end, might take the franchise to the next level as at least four scribes worked on the first film. Robert Downey Jr. (who was also in Tropic Thunder) is back on board as is director Jon Favreau, with an April 2010 release date scheduled. source - variety
