The fact that this delightful drama was given a limited release and buried remains a real tragedy, given not just the talent involved but also the uncommon lives it decides to explore, and explores so wonderfully. 

Travellers follows a gaggle of nomadic conmen as they drive through America pulling off elaborate scams, tricking unsuspecting strangers, and trying to stay out trouble as best as they can.

Starring a charismatic Bill Paxton as a veteran conman and a young Mark Wahlberg as his new protégé, Travellers spends ample time exploring the cons and deceptions of its ragtag team of fraudsters, but spends just as much time breathing life into their stories, their motivations, and who they are under all the chicanery. 

Amusing and heartfelt, Travellers is a fun little ode to community and the complexities of people who seem to have it made, and it deserves so much more attention.
