Universal Studios Hollywood Announces The Return Of The “Awesomest Celebration Of The Season”

Christmas is returning to Hogwarts.

The Christmas celebrations are set to return to Universal Studios Hollywood this holiday season. Even CityWalk will be dressed for the holidays with a "40 foot-tall Christmas tree featuring more than 200,000 LED lights".

The “Awesomest Celebration of the Season” is back between 25th November and 1st January with two of your favourite film franchises joining in the fun.

"Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter" will turn the magical Hogsmeade Village to life with lights and music. Decorations will adorn the buildings of the town turning it into a festive wonderland. As the Hogwarts Frog Choir a capella group sing Christmas songs you can grab yourself a Hot Butterbeer and enjoy the festive tunes.

When night falls upon the wizarding school Hogwarts comes to life. "The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” is a projection show that will take place each night and will light up the sky. Music and storytelling will give you all the festive feels that the Harry Potter films bring.

The mean green one will also be at Universal Studios Hollywood. "Grinchmas Who-bilation" will be on at Universal Plaza. There will be a huge "topsy-turvy" Christmas tree which will be covered in "hundreds of ornaments and thousands of LED lights".

At the tree lighting ceremony each evening the Grinch will take to the stage and tell classic story along with the Whos of Who-ville. You can also meet the Grinch along with Max the dog at special photo opportunities throughout the day.

If the show wasn't enough then you can listen to the retelling of the story read by Cindy-Lou Who herself.

The festive season can be the perfect time to indulge in some sweet treats. The park will be serving up festive delights as well as hot cocoa. Voodoo Donut will also have seasonal offerings.

The best thing about all the Christmas celebrations at Universal Studios Hollywood is that it's all included in the price of admission!
