20 Upcoming Movies That Made INCREDIBLE Casting Choices
20. Kirsten Dunst - The Housemaid's Secret
After last year's adaptation of Freida McFadden's thriller novel The Housemaid blew up at the box office, it didn't take long for a movie based on McFadden's sequel novel, The Housemaid's Secret, to be announced.
Star Sydney Sweeney and director Paul Feig are set to return, but here's where things get fun - Kirsten Dunst has also been cast in a main role.
Dunst will reportedly play Wendy Garrick, a reclusive woman who protagonist Millie (Sydney Sweeney) takes a job housekeeping for, and who has her own share of twisted secrets.
Anyone who's read The Housemaid's Secret will know that this is one hell of a juicy role for Dunst, who will get to act in an unhinged register we haven't seen from her in quite some time.
Filmmaker Feig promised fans that Dunst will be "very unexpected" in the role, and it'll certainly be a delight to see her sink her teeth into material that'll give her plenty of opportunities to swing for the fences.
