15. The Entertainment System Is Down

The Entertainment System Is Down is the new film from Triangle of Sadness filmmaker Ruben Östlund, and what little we know about it suggests an absolute doozy alright.

Östlund's latest is set on a long-haul plane flight as the onboard entertainment system goes down, causing chaos as the passengers find themselves without anything to do for its duration.

This certainly sounds like a ripe setup for a savage satirist like Östlund, to pass thorny commentary on our modern obsession with screens and inability to simply sit still doing nothing.

The cast is stupid-good, too, including Keanu Reeves, Kirsten Dunst, Daniel Brühl, Samantha Morton, Nicholas Braun, Tobias Menzies, and Julie Delpy, among many more.

It remains to be seen precisely how deranged things get, but considering the absolutely bonkers outcome of Triangle of Sadness, we can assume that Östlund is going to swing for the fences here. Anything less would of course be a disappointment.
